5 Fuss-Free Makeup Favourites

I think that everyone needs fuss-free makeup sometimes. Whether you’re in a hurry or you just can’t be bothered to spend too much time on your makeup, we can all use items that can be used in a pinch. Inspired by being short of time in the morning, I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you!

5 Fuss-Free Makeup Favourites

This is such an easy way for me to upgrade my second-day hair. It freshens it up, as well as adding a little bit of volume.
This is the perfect matte-nude-easy-to-apply lipstick/balm. It’s moisturizing, smells amazing, and is quick to touch up without a mirror.
I love how easy cream eyeshadow is to wear. They usually have a lovely shimmer, and are quite easy to blend out. This one is my favourite shade at the moment.
This is a light, extremely light coverage base that I’ll wear with a little bit of concealer when I don’t want to go all-out on my foundation routine. I also love that it has SPF 15 in it!

This mascara doesn’t budge, and is the one I always reach for when I don’t want it to move. It also does a wonderful job of making my eyelashes look fuller and longer.

What are some of your favourite fuss-free makeup favourites?

  1. Okay so I am not holding out any longer…EVERYONE is raving about that Maybelline mascara and it is time for me to get involved!

I don't actually like Batiste dry shampoo, I can't stand the smell of it. I've been using a TIGI one which smells absolutely amazing and doesn't make your hair go white and dusty. Would highly recommend.

  2. Great picks!
I don't really do any makeup if I'm in a hurry, so I don't have any products to recommend. But a lip and cheek stain goes pretty far I guess.
    Hope you're doing great.
    Much love,

  3. The only problem I have with the mascara is that it isn't cruelty free! I'm going to have to try that dry shampoo, I could use a new one. Thank you for your comment Katie ♥

  4. I have personally never tried Batiste! Is it honestly as good as it is hyped to be? x Currently I am using the Revlon Volume + Length Magnified mascara and love the formula to pieces, but I'm running out and it's getting old. What is your all time favorite drugstore mascara?

  5. It's fairly effective, but it does leave a lot of white residue in my hair.
Maybelline's Lash Sensational is good for staying power, but Marcelle's Ultimate Volume is quite a lot better for length and volume. However, it does flake off a lot! I'm trying out an Essence one right now though, so I'll see how it works!

  6. Lash Sensational is meant to be so good it's my next mascara buy! I also love dry shampoo especially Batiste, it's a life saver for dirty hair plus it smells so good! xx

  7. Flaking is a major turn-off for me when it comes to mascaras! The Revlon one I'm using now is a fiber formula, and I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. I'm hoping to get my hands on the Maybelline Great Lash sometime soon because it is such a classic and my friends use it. Have you ever tried it?

  8. I haven't tried it before! I've been wanting to try a more expensive one lately such as Too Faced's Better Than Sex or Tarte's Lash Paint because I've heard such great things about them, but they are quite expensive.
