2016 Blog Review

2016 was a crazy, crazy year for me. Though I’m not going to get into details here, that did mean that I wasn’t as active in my blog as I would have liked. I did think, though, that I could share some what I think were this years best post from this blog, and add a quote from each one! While I didn’t get to blog as much as I would have liked to, I started putting more effort into individual posts and, in my opinion, making better posts.

I know this post has more of a Valentines aesthetic than an early August one,  but quite honestly, I don’t care. Valentines day has some of my favourite decorations, and I usually end up using them throughout the whole year.In this post, I thought that I’d share some of my favourite subtle pink makeup favourites. Bright, Barbie pinks are all well and good, but most days, I’m more into softer pink tones.

Spreading Positivity Online

I’m here today to try to encourage ever single one of you to go out of your way to try and be nice to at least one other person online today.I know that I’m not perfect when it comes to this. I know that there is always more that I can do. But I do want to try and build a little community of positivity around this blog. That’s one of the reasons that it’s here.

There are many different types of goals, too many to ever fit into one post. However, today I’m talking about the types of goals you set yourself that you try to do something every day.

Harry Potter was one of my favourite books as a child, and it’s stayed with me for a long time. It gives me the chance to disappear into another world, and the books and the movies are a source of comfort for me.

Recent Reads #3

This is another book that I absolutely adore. It’s so rare for me to really like the characters in a YA book, and I absolutely adored all of the ones in Six of Crows.

I hope that you all had a wonderful 2016, and an amazing 2017!
